Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Decadent Chocolate Chai Matcha Mix
- 1 egg Beaten
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tbsp Vanilla
- 1/4 cup Sugar raw or org
- 1/2 cup Canola oil
- Icing sugar as needed

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350F/ 175C. Lightly spray your madeleine baking tray with pan release spray, sprinkle with sugar. Shake off excess sugar, set tray aside
- In a medium sized mixing bowl combine milk, sugar, vanilla, Matcha mix, Oil, Egg and Baking Powder
- Whisk well to combine and dissolve sugar.
- Scale flour, add to wet ingredients, stir well and briefly to a smooth batter – do not over mix.
- Allow batter to rest/hydrate for 5minutes.
- Using a small scoop (or spoon) fill each madeleine cavity with batter.
- Push madeleines into the oven at 350F/175C using center rack
- Bake for approx. 7-10minutes or if Madeleines are just firm to the touch.
- Using heat resistant oven mitts, carefully remove madeleine tray from oven. Set on cooling rack.
- Keep Madeleines in tray for 5min, then flip over tray and knock out onto wire rack to cool off ( if they last that long!!)
- Generously dust madeleines with icing sugar and some decadent chocolate Chai mix.
- Serve with pineapple jam, whipped cream or just enjoy with a hot cup of Tea-Squared Premium Tea or New Matcha Tea Latte!

A mixing bowl, a whisk, madeleine baking mold, cooling rack, small scoop
Additional Decadent Chai Latte mix for ‘dusting’
