Ingredients
- 1/2 lbs Butter unsalted
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Decadent Chocolate Chai Blend (or fav Tea Squared Matcha Blend)
- 3/4 cup soft brown sugar
- 1 large Egg
- 2 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- some regular sugar to coat

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325F/ 160 C
- Cream butter with soft brown sugar in mixer using paddle attachment.
- Add egg, continue to whip butter until egg is well incorporated
- Scale and combine all- purpose flour and decadent chocolate chai blend.
- Briefly mix flour blend into butter base – do not over mix.
- Sprinkle some sugar onto your work surface ( or cutting board )
- Pour shortbread dough onto work surface and press into a rectangle brick (approx. 1x4x6)
- Wrap shortbread dough in plastic, chill for 30 min.
- Using a sharp knife cut dough to ½ inch thick slices, dock each slice with a dinner fork several times.
- Set shortbread cookies onto cookie sheet.
- Bake in the center of the oven at 325F / 160 C for approx. 10-12min
- Remove from oven, allow shortbread to cool off on trays
- Enjoy with a hot cup of Tea-Squared Premium Tea or New Matcha Tea Latte!
