Decadent Chocolate Chai Matcha Shortbread

  1. Preheat your oven to 325F/ 160 C
  2. Cream butter with soft brown sugar in mixer using paddle attachment.
  3. Add egg, continue to whip butter until egg is well incorporated
  4. Scale and combine all- purpose flour and decadent chocolate chai blend.
  5. Briefly mix flour blend into butter base – do not over mix.
  6. Sprinkle some sugar onto your work surface ( or cutting board )
  7. Pour shortbread dough onto work surface and press into a rectangle brick (approx. 1x4x6)
  8. Wrap shortbread dough in plastic, chill for 30 min.
  9. Using a sharp knife cut dough to ½ inch thick slices, dock each slice with a dinner fork several times.
  10. Set shortbread cookies onto cookie sheet.
  11. Bake in the center of the oven at 325F / 160 C for approx. 10-12min
  12. Remove from oven, allow shortbread to cool off on trays
  13. Enjoy with a hot cup of Tea-Squared Premium Tea or New Matcha Tea Latte!
